Friends of Felines isan all volunteer, not-for-profit...
network of dedicated individuals who feel that to trap, spay and/or neuter, and return (T-N-R) feral cats to their “home” (colony) rather than euthanasia is the right thing to do. We work to improve the lives of feral and stray cat colonies in south central Kansas.
Friends of Felines has trapped, neutered/spayed, and returned or relocated hundreds of cats in the Sedgwick County, KS area.
Friends of Felines is currently supporting many colonies and hundreds of cats. Through the efforts of volunteers, these cats are provided shelter and food within their colonies, and the necessary medical attention to lead a full life in a safe environment. FOF purchases thousands of pounds of dry and canned cat food every year. With our help they are given the chance to lead a full life in a safe environment.
Trapping is not an easy thing to do. You go out in the cold, the rain, and the dark to round up these cats. But, you do it because you care deeply about these poor, helpless furry friends who haven’t chosen this life for themselves. And, you do it because it relieves immeasurable pain and suffering they would otherwise suffer. You do it because it’s the right thing to do.
If we don’t fight their battle and speak up for them, who will? And, the best thing is, things are getting better every day. Every kitty we trap is one more huge step forward to eliminating their hardship and overpopulation. We are making the ferals’ lives better one spay or neuter at a time.
